On August 12, BMAGIC’s hosted their 20th Annual Backpack Giveaway at Hunters Point. Over 2,000 new backpacks filled with school supplies were distributed, reaching 260 San Francisco households and 934 residents in all.
The event also featured tables and activities from 46 Nonprofits, Community Benefit Organizations, and San Francisco City Departments (see below for complete list). Notable features included a bicycle raffle from the SF Bike Coalition, a bike riding course from Y Bike, and the SF Public Library Bookmobile!
