Site History
HuntersPoint.org operates on the site of the former Hunters Point Power Plant. PG&E closed the plant in 2006, and after remediating the land, opened the site to community use in 2014. The Hunters Point site is actively managed by PG&E, and still home to crucial power infrastructure – you can learn more here.
